Skye Rogers is a Sydney-based Art Therapist who works in a strengths-based, trauma-informed, person-centred practice.
Skye engages small groups at community centres in art therapy as well as children and teens experiencing social and emotional issues. Skye’s therapy training was in aged care, where she worked with those living with advanced dementia. ‘I really witnessed some beautiful moments with this population. Getting clients back in touch with art after sometimes several decades of not holding a paintbrush was wonderful to see. Something amazing opens up in people when they connect with what their artist self knows…’
Skye is happy to work one on one with you, facilitate groups or source a team of art therapists through the umbrella of ART(co)LAB.
Skye’s extensive background in the arts gives her an intimate understanding of the challenges & joys inherent in art-making.
It has been said that Skye brings ‘the whole of herself’ to her work, offering an inclusive & compassionate experience with lots of practical resources on hand.
Skye writes the occasional radio piece and has authored 5 non-fiction books. If you’d like to see more of Skye’s illustration work or books, visit www.skyesthelimit.com.au

ART CO-LAB COLLABORATES…
ART(co)LAB is the umbrella under which Skye Rogers collaborates with art therapists …and you! Skye engages highly skilled creative therapists throughout Australia to demystify, educate & inform about what the creative therapies are and can do. ‘People don’t often know much about what art therapy is…or what it can offer. We want to change this and get the word out there…’
ART(co)LAB offers you/your team/community group/event a meaningful, therapeutically informed experience that will be co-designed with you.
The aim is to: see, feel, create, engage & repair!
